Panel Gives OK to New Ohio Lottery Game

Gov. Ted Strickland’s plan to launch a new video lottery game cleared a 10-member panel of lawmakers Monday without objection.

The decision by the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review means that the Ohio Lottery Commission will take the next step of requesting almost $18 million for equipment to operate Keno, a video lottery game resembling bingo.
